PRESENTING Eclipse, by R&A Core.
THE UNOFFICIAL GUIDE
Welcome to Stillwater's Unofficial Guide on Eclipse, a game made by R&A Core. Let's go over each of the things you need to know on how to play this cool game.
Photos were taken at Dynasty Gaming.
INITIAL LOOK:

It looks different than you think when you look at the game. But, that should not appease you too much. Just pay the machine and the game will start.
GAMEPLAY:

Like EVERY single game on the grid you match numbers. However, there are a few catches to matching the numbers - 3 of the 9 numbers will contain different surprises, which are explained below.
Single Number - 200 points
Moon Icon - See below screenshot.
Row - 800 points
Full Clear - 5,000 points

Some numbers also reveal different "special bonuses", here is what you can find. 3 of the 9 numbers contain a different bonus. And they are random per game.
The possible bonuses are:
1000 points - adds 1000 points
3000 points - adds 3000 points
5000 points - adds 5000 points
Extra Round - Increases rounds from maximum of 8 to 9. If a full clear, can increase to 10.
2x - Doubles all grid points and bonuses, excluding the Secret Round.
? - Secret Round - See below "Secret Round" for info.
SECRET ROUND:

Here, you are to find the 5000 points, which is encoded in a green outline.
To find it, you must use skill.

RED - The 5,000 point bonus is 2 SQUARES AWAY.
YELLOW - The 5,000 points bonus is 1 SQUARE AWAY.
GREEN - You have found the 5,000 point bonus.
My advice to everyone on the Secret Round is to start at a corner - it is the most likely way you can find the 5,000 point bonus.
FINAL WHEEL SPIN:

TIPS AND TRICKS:
- Biggest tip I will give you is the secret round one. ALWAYS start in a corner - so you have a reliable chance to find the bonus. As long as you do not mess up once.
- Remember that the bonuses are random on the grid, so you will need to act accordingly to beat your score without having to rely on spinning a 3x wedge, which is not always guaranteed to happen.
- After completing the grid, a new grid appears, and you CAN use the numbers you still have, assuming you have any that match the new grid. Yes, you can get bonuses that way too.
- THE MOON ICON MUST BE USED FIRST if you see it!!
Hope you enjoyed this guide.
Sincerely yours,
Warden Stillwater
